Probe Research is the data controller for personal data collected through studies fielded on the Probe platform and for account data of platform users.
Participant data is used to deliver studies, pay participants, and produce aggregated insights for sponsors. Account data is used to run the platform, bill workspaces, and contact users about their account.
We process participant data on the basis of legitimate interests in conducting research commissioned by sponsors. We process platform user account data on the basis of contract performance (providing the service you signed up for).
Your data may be processed by subprocessors located in the United States, including Supabase and Stripe. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the UK ICO for such transfers.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Sponsors receive only de-identified, aggregated outputs. Subprocessors include Supabase (hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Prolific (participant panel), and the AI providers used to moderate interviews and generate analysis.
Study data is retained for the duration of the workspace plus 12 months for audit purposes, unless deletion is requested.
