Thank you for taking part in a Probe Research study. This notice explains who we are and how your responses are used.
The study is conducted by Probe, a product of V Ventures Group. Probe may be commissioned by a sponsor (such as a company researching its customers or market). Sponsors do not receive your panel identifier and cannot contact you directly.
You will interact with an AI interviewer that asks follow-up questions in plain language. Your responses are recorded as text. You can stop at any time.
Your typed responses, the screening answers required to qualify you for the study, and the participant identifier from our panel partner. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or other direct identifiers.
Sponsors receive aggregated and de-identified findings (themes, quotes that have been reviewed for identifiers, and summary metrics). Sponsors do not receive your raw panel profile.
Probe pays the reward shown on the study card via our panel partner, on completion.
Some studies are live video calls with a researcher. Before the call we ask for your consent to record. The call is recorded (video and audio) and turned into a written transcript so the research team can review what was said. The researcher running the study can see and hear you, and can download the recording. Our video calling and transcription providers process the recording only to deliver this service. If you don't want to be recorded, don't join the call. You won't be penalised.
Your responses and transcripts are retained for 12 months after the study closes, unless you request deletion sooner. Video recordings are deleted automatically 90 days after the study closes.
You can stop the study at any time. If you withdraw from a video interview, we delete both the recording and the transcript. Survey responses already submitted may still be used in aggregated findings unless you contact us to request deletion.
